WHAT IS THE EGADD Technology Sub-Committee?
This Sub-Committee seeks to try to provide assistance to ECJU in the drafting of guidance on exports of technology that meets Industry’s needs. The whole subject of “exporting” technology has become increasingly complex, yet, also, at the same time, of growing importance to companies, who desperately require clear guidance on exactly what they need to do to comply not only with the UK’s regulations in this sector, but also those of other nations. Therefore, clear and authoritative HMG guidance on issues such as “cloud computing” are of vital importance to many UK firms.
