WHAT IS THE DEFENCE SME COMMITTEE (DSMEC)?
The Defence SME Committee (DSMEC) represents the interests of ADS SME members, representing their interests and issues within the Defence sector.
WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THE GROUP?
The aim of the Defence SME Committee is to act as the voice of ADS SME members, representing their interests and issues within the Defence sector. The committee promotes fair and equal treatment of SME companies as important contributors to the UK Defence sector, and supports the innovative capabilities and flexibility of working directly with small companies. The committee engages regularly with MOD representatives, and frequently discusses commercial and contractual policies which affect SMEs.
HOW DO I JOIN?
This particular group is categorised as a ‘Board or Committee’ ADS Boards and Committees generally operate at the more strategic level, and have more specific membership criteria. Members can register their interest in the committee, and if a vacancy arises the group facilitator will contact you directly to discuss the process of joining.
