The UK aerospace sector is world-leading, generating well-paid jobs, high-tech exports and sustainable growth across the country.
We work with our aerospace members to ensure they maximise the opportunities that are available as a result of the unprecedented global growth in the aerospace market over the coming years and decades.
Aerospace members derive great value from participation in the various Special Interest Groups and/or on the Sector’s Boards and Committees. Additionally, the team support members by providing sector specific market information, guidance on grants and funding streams. Special projects to support ADS members includes Sustainable Aviation and Airworthiness and Safety.
ADS operates a number of groups to support specialist business development requirements. These are open to all members to join, giving them access to the information which they issue. Some of the areas covered include:
ADS runs a number of dedicated Boards and Committees for members which are focused on the strategic planning and operational delivery relating to topics of importance for the Sectors.
The policy team works with the government to shape the political, economic and business environment within which our members operate. For the aerospace sector, working with the government also influences capability requirements and leads to business opportunities.
We facilitate the showcasing of Aerospace capabilities by co-ordinating UK Pavilions at key global Aerospace trade shows and exhibitions throughout the year. Many of these are hosted in partnership with UK Government. We also offer hospitality services and exhibiting opportunities at the biennial Farnborough International Airshow.
Specialised training, briefings and workshops offer delegates insight into a range of topics together with access into key government programmes, departments and initiatives.
A variety of supply chain events provide exposure to primes and important updates.
ADS has dedicated support looking at markets and opportunities across the world. This information can be accessed in The Business Development Centre (BDC).
