#MeetNPF will be a short series that will highlight each of the NPF’s committee members to let you know who is working on what, and who you can reach out to for certain projects. Up next, we have Peter Girvan, who is working in our media group!
Overview
Peter holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Business Studies & Renewable Energy from The Open University. An ambitious individual with over 15 years of account management experience, he provides insight to key customers optimising quality of service, business growth and customer satisfaction. In addition to his primary role of promoting Denroy’s vision, to be the world’s leading innovator in the design and manufacture of engineered polymer components & solutions, a main objective is to continually develop his knowledge and expertise in high engineering grades of PEEK and PPS used in the aerospace industry.
Background
Four years ago, and after many years in the energy market, Peter moved to a role in a technology company, promoting safer custody practice and innovation within the high security / custodial sector. This role led Peter to become a member of ADS, taking advantage of the networking opportunities available through the likes of the Security and Policing show and DSEI.
Peter joined Denroy Plastics in October 2021, who have a long history in the aerospace and defence industry. Peter’s goal is to develop new and existing customer relationships, as well as his knowledge of engineered polymer components and advanced thermoplastic composite technology.
Why did you join NPF?
As a qualified Tier 1 supplier to Boeing, Airbus and many others, it made sense to develop his network within the Aerospace and Defence sector. As someone new to the industry, it’s also a great way to build knowledge in different areas and get to meet some nice people along the way! Peter has just joined the committee, as of January 2022, and looks forward to getting involved. Currently he has volunteered to help with the NPF LinkedIn content, and as he becomes more familiar with events and projects, he anticipates more engagement.

He has 4 kids and 4 dogs!
