Raptor Photonics Limited, a high-tech company based in Northern Ireland, was established in September 2006. Its main focus is to design, manufacture and sell the next generation of high performance, cutting edge, low light level digital cameras.

Raptor’s Intelligence, Surveillance, Target Acquisition & Reconnaissance (ISTAR) camera-based systems are used for Night Vision, Surveillance and Target Location systems. Our cameras are deployed on electro-optic platforms from the sea-bed to space. We have cameras on gimbals and turrets of air, sea and land-based applications. Our cameras are also flying on the payloads of current LEO CubeSat missions. 

We offer both MOTS and custom camera solutions using CMOS, CCD and InGaAs sensors and cover UV, VIS and SWIR wavebands. Designed to MilSpec standards and SWaP optimised, our cameras offer the highest levels of resolution and sensitivity for day/night/low-light imaging. Our cameras are compact and designed to work in the harshest of environments.

Raptor cameras are sold globally. The company works with government organisations, primes and system integrators all over the world, including Special Forces, National Defence Forces, Law Enforcement and Professional Security teams who demand the highest quality and absolute reliability. Raptor carries the latest quality accreditation BS EN ISO 9001:2015.
