Plextek is an independent electronics design consultancy.

Our work covers TRL 1 research through to TRL 9, designing and manufacturing systems and subsystems which are required to meet strenuous specifications across a range of markets. Our skillset covers electronics, signal generation, signal conditioning, antenna design, digital signal processing and software algorithms necessary to support the design, development and supply of bespoke sensing and communication systems. In particular, we specialise in the design of electronic sensor and communication systems where low size, weight, power and cost (SWaP-C) is required.

We were established in 1989 and are based 12 miles south of Cambridge. Plextek has around 80 staff overall including 70 professional engineers and scientists.
