Merlin Flex is an amalgamation of 2 of the UK’s original flexible circuit manufacturing companies, Flex-Ability Ltd and MBM Technologies Ltd with manufacturing and experience going back over 33 years. Based in Hartlepool, Teesside, Merlin Flex Ltd has vast experience in the manufacture & assembly of Flexible and Flex/Rigid Multilayer Printed Circuit Boards & Interconnection Systems. The company occupies a 35,000 square foot manufacturing facility providing world class expertise across a broad base of technologies. Merlin Flex Ltd takes a leading role in managing original turnkey projects for customers in all electronics markets including defence, aerospace, space, medical, telecoms, instrumentation, automotive and robotics. Merlin Flex’s capability includes Single-sided flex, Double-sided flex, Multilayer Flex & Flex/Rigid, Sculptured Flex, Long Flex to 1.2M, Blind & Burried Vias, Laser drilled microvias plus a complete in-house component assembly facility. The company holds AS9100 Rev D accreditation plus holds ISO14001, SC21 Bronze, Cyber Essentials plus has most employees qualified to IPC600, IPC610 & IPC-J-STD. Merlin Flex Ltd is a subsidiary of the Merlin PCB Group, the largest privately owned PCB company in the UK.
