Our Defence Sector Focus
We have delivered over £250m worth of projects in the last 3 years, working in the military operational environment, from airside operational, to strategic maritime and nuclear sites, as well as on operational Army establishments, to enable increased capacity. We are currently delivering our recently won Defence Estates Optimisation Portfolio projects that have a value of up to £1.5Bn over the next 5 years. Our nuclear teams are also delivering large and complex dry dock projects at Devonport Naval Base, Clyde Naval Base and specialist construction at the Atomic Weapons Establishment.

As one of the Defence Infrastructure Organisation’s (DIO) National Framework contractors, we have substantial experience of delivering major build and refurbishment projects on the MoD’s estate. Our dedicated teams are adept at working in demanding operational environments. We have experience working in naval bases on the Clyde and Portsmouth, air stations across the UK, Army bases and defence laboratories and research sites.
We often carry out major projects while facilities continue to operate, putting in place special arrangements to maintain security, including physical screening to minimise the impact of our work on site operations. We include for such measures from the start so that projects remain on budget and on time, taking into account special requirements for secure and sensitive areas. As a trusted and long term partner, we maintain trusted supply chain relationships with design and delivery partners with strong defence experience.
