ITP Aero, founded in 1989 is the leading Spanish aeronautical engine company and is today the ninth largest aeronautical engine and component company in the world, with a global turnover of 915 million euros in 2021.
In May 2021, ITP Aero increased its global presence, with the integration of the former Rolls-Royce site in Hucknall Nottinghamshire, incorporating three manufacturing plants, dedicated to the production of complex fabrications, combustors, casings and outlet guide vanes for the civil and defence aviation sectors.
ITP Aero UK has a large team of highly-skilled design and manufacturing engineers, and operating alongside existing ITP Engines colleagues in Leicestershire and Lincolnshire, ITP Aero now boasts 850 employees across the UK.
With an intrinsic dedication to research and development, ITP Aero is positioned at the heart of development programmes such as the UltraFan and the future of hydrogen propulsion technology. ITP is a driving force in the reduction of carbon emissions, being a key partner in the United Nations Race to Zero campaign through the ‘Business Ambition to 1.5 ºC’ programme, by which it commits to becoming carbon neutral by 2050.
