The Chief Fire Officers Association (CFOA) and DIT Defence and Security Organisation (DSO) have jointly worked to identify and capture the full UK Fire and Resilience Offer. This includes fire suppression systems; disaster relief; flood rescue; command and control; chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear response; training; contingency planning; and more.
The document also highlights that fire and resilience opportunities appear in a number sectors, such as major construction, transportation projects, major event planning, and critical national infrastructure / utilities infrastructure projects, including energy and industrial / chemical facilities
The publication uses case studies and examples to cover the strength of the UK’s industry in the fire and resilience sector, the vast array of capabilities offered by the UK, and underscores the need to improve coordination and visibility of overseas opportunities.
