Sigma Management Development Limited (MDL) are a training facilitation and consultancy organisation specialising in collaborative working, bid support, leadership, commercial skills training and, team development.
Sigma have worked in the defence and security sectors and government outsourcing sectors for the last 20 years and have programmes with all the major Primes, and supply chains.
Our work includes preparing teams for MOD and DIO assessment centres on collaborative working, and, developing JV’s, alliances and consortiums to work as one team to support bid winning activity. This also includes coaching leaders to enable successful team performance across a wide range of project, bid and programme teams.
Collaboration, coaching and leadership training
We are currently a team member on a large MD4IA bid consortium, using collaboration as a ‘win theme’ and using coaching to integrate the team and produce a winning bid response. On another programme we are training commercial teams achieve IACCM qualifications and improve their commercial skills and performance. Our leadership training also includes managing change and we have of course applied this to the COVID19 challenges to help leaders support and maintain team performance in these unprecedented times.
The MOD and DIO are emphasising the importance of collaborative behaviours in their ITT’s and looking to measure these behaviours through formal assessments.
Much of our work is with organisations having to demonstrate these collaborative behaviours and we train coach and facilitate the teams to perform well at the assessment.
All our work is tailored to the organisations’ requirements, the project in question, and individual’s objectives. We are very practical in our approach, get to the heart of the matter quickly and are very results focussed.
