Thompson Aero Seating announces world-class Dynamic Test Facility
Thompson Aero Seating announced its plans for the creation of a world-class Dynamic Test Facility (DTF) in Northern Ireland. This is a £7.5 million investment in a facility that will catapult Thompson into a new era of development and innovation.
Commenting on the announcement, ADS Director Northern Ireland, Leslie Orr said:
“Northern Ireland is recognised for its outstanding contribution to the global aircraft interiors market and is responsible for around 50% of the UK’s aircraft interiors output. In real terms, one in three of the world’s aircraft seats are manufactured in Northern Ireland.
“Thompson Aero’s investment in the new Dynamic Test Centre is a fantastic addition to Northern Ireland’s outstanding regional capability, supporting further innovation and prosperity in the vibrant aerospace region for decades to come.”
