Moyola Precision Engineering has received a fourth consecutive gold award in the 21st Century Supply Chains (SC21) Operational Excellence (OE) programme.
The SC21 OE programme is a voluntary programme designed to accelerate the performance and competitiveness of the aerospace and defence sector supply chains and is coordinated by ADS, the UK trade association for the aerospace, defence, security and space sectors. Becoming a participant in the programme is free of charge and is endorsed by the AGP, BEIS and MoD as well as leading aerospace and defence companies.
Moyola Precision Engineering has been operating since 1976 from the heart of Northern Ireland and exports to diverse markets throughout Western Europe, North America, the Far East and South Africa. Moyola operates over three core sectors including aerostructures for the aerospace sector and has been committed to the SC21 programme since 2007 receiving bronze in 2011, silver in 2012 which was retained for seven consecutive years before receiving the Gold Award in July 2018, 2019, 2020 and now 2021.

About the SC21 OE Gold Award
To achieve the ambitious SC21 OE Gold Award, an organisation should achieve ambitious performance and service targets of more than or equal to 99.90% for Quality and 99.00% for Delivery (On Time In Full). The Quality & Delivery performance consists of 12 consecutive rolling performance data points representing the last 12 months. Each monthly rolling performance figure is the average performance for its preceding 12 months, therefore 23 months of data is required to demonstrate 12 months of rolling performance data. In addition to Q&D the company needs to demonstrate to reach certain Manufacturing, Business and Relationship targets.
