Business Excellence Awards Celebrate Supply Chain Success
Thirteen aerospace companies have received recognition for supply chain excellence from the SC21 (Supply Chains for the Twenty First Century) awards programme. The awards were presented in Clontarf Castle, Dublin during the SC21 Task Force conference which was attended by companies from across the UK and Ireland this week.
This is the first time that the conference has been held in Dublin, a reflection of the growth of the aerospace supply chain industry in Ireland.
The latest gold award was presented to Gloucestershire-based L-3 TRL Technology, who supply advanced electronic systems. Achieving a gold award demonstrates clear commitment to continuous improvement but, given the challenging requirements of the bronze and silver levels, is no easy feat.
Six Irish companies received the prestigious SC21 Awards at the event:
- Bellurgan Precision Engineering Ltd from County Louth
- Dawnlough Ltd based in Galway
- DPF Engineering Ltd based in Carlow
- Eire Composites Ltd from County Galway
- Schivo Precision Ltd based in Waterford
- Takumi Precision Engineering Ltd from Limerick
