ADS is disappointed by the US Department of Commerce's latest decision to apply tariffs to US sales of Bombardier's C-Series.
ADS Chief Executive Paul Everitt said:
“It is disappointing that the dispute has reached this stage without an amicable resolution being found. This is not the final ruling in this case and there is still time for a solution to be found that averts the threat of US tariffs.
"In the highly competitive global aerospace industry it is important airlines and their passengers have access to the best technology and the most innovative products.
“The recent announcement of a partnership between Airbus and Bombardier in the C-Series is great news for the programme, its suppliers, and the workforce in Northern Ireland.
"The C-Series has great potential for future growth, and governments in the UK, US and Canada must continue to work hard to find an appropriate resolution to the dispute as quickly as possible.”
