The six year young Airbus A321-200, registered G-POWN, joined the Titan fleet at the end of March and was quickly placed in a sub-charter role with Jet2.com.

For this summer, the A321 has been relocated from London Stansted to Manchester Airport, where it will be based until the end of September to support the leading leisure airline in its biggest ever year.  Configured with 212 leather seats, the aircraft will cover flights for both Jet2.com and Jet2holidays customers to popular sun destinations in Spain, the Canary Islands and Greece.

G-POWN is the second aircraft that Titan have placed with Jet2.com for summer 2016 – Boeing 757, G-POWH, has been operating from the leisure carrier’s Leeds base since 20th March.  The two aircraft deal follows a series of successful lease partnerships between the two carriers over recent years.

Delivered to Titan in an all-white livery, Jet2.com’s own decals have now been applied to the A321 aircraft and will be in place for the duration of the damp lease agreement.
On completion of the contract, the latest addition to the Titan fleet will be back on the charter market for further airline sub-charter requirements, ad hoc charter and tour operator charter roles.

G-POWN is the first Airbus A321 to join Titan Airways’ evolving fleet and follows the introduction of three of the smaller A320 units over the last three years.  Jet2.com’s own fleet is also expanding with the introduction later this year of the first of its 30 new, next generation Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
