Thormac partner with Sekisui on resin trial
Thormac has partnered with Sekisui SPI on trialling a new resin suitable for use on aircraft interiors.

Sekisui SPI, which provides thermoplastics, has joinerd forces with Thormac in the first trials of its new family of injection molding materials to the KYDEX Thermoplastics Aviation Portfolio.
KYDEX injection molding compounds are a PVC/PMMA alloy and have the same physical properties as KYDEX Thermoplastic sheet. Offered in both KYDEX 6565IM and KYDEX T-IM, KYDEX injection molding resins are available in both fully compliant and vertical burn compliant grades.
The KYDEX injection molding materials were specifically designed to drive less visual variation between injection molded parts and thermoformed parts.
Thormac established its working partnership with KYDEX Injection Molding, to be able to bring the industry and their customers new innovative solutions.
