Tek launching ProTEK Harness Buckle Cover at DSEI
Tunbridge Wells based Tek Military Seating Ltd. is introducing a quick release buckle cover - designed to protect fixing points from the ingress of water and dust - at next week's DSEI at the ExCel in London's Docklands.

Following in depth discussions with customers who fit Stanag 25-9 harnesses to seats within their vehicles, concerns were raised regarding quick release buckles becoming jammed with dirt and sand, particularly within open top vehicles operating in extreme environments.
Tek has developed a simple to fit quick release buckle cover which protects fixing points from the ingress of water and dust, ensuring that buckles operate correctly in all environments. Constructed of impact resistant nylon which is UV stabilised these covers have been designed to fit onto Securon quick release buckles and can be retro-fitted for those currently in service.
The ProTEK Harness buckle cover joins the ProTEK harness seat belt pads which offer additional protection to occupants who use harness seat belts, demonstrating again the innovation Tek brings to the defence sector, adding additional safety to products already used extensively within the military vehicle sector.
