TAG Farnborough Airport sees air traffic increase
The airport is receiving more airliner-derived (50-80 tons maximum take-off weight) business jets with a notable 5% increase in 2015. The most ATMs in this aircraft category for any month were recorded in August. Many of these aircraft arrive from North America.

TAG Farnborough Airport is upgrading its award-winning terminal building with additional lounge space for passengers as well as enhanced crew facilities, including a gymnasium and second ‘snooze room’. Work is expected to be completed by the end of this month. It is the UK’s only dedicated business aviation airport and a key gateway to London. The airport offers bespoke services as well as state-of-the-art facilities and continues to set new standards in the business aviation market.
Earlier this year, TAG Farnborough Airport opened a second fast-track entrance to the site for the exclusive use of passengers and crew. The airport already offers a wide range of amenities including concierge service, conference rooms and direct ramp access for customers wanting to drive up to waiting jets.

A new gastropub owned by TAG Group, The Swan, is set to open next month, occupying a building of historical interest. The Swan dates back to the 19th century when it was used to refresh both horses and drivers between Farnborough railway station, the Queen's Hotel (now the Holiday Inn) and North Camp railway station. Workers of the then newly built Balloon Factory also used to frequent the public house.
Aviator, the luxury hotel by TAG, is also located on the perimeter of the airport. Its facilities include the Brasserie, One Eleven and the Sky Bar, offering passengers and crew space to relax before travel as well as for corporate events.
Both The Swan and Aviator provide unique views of the air displays during the biennial Farnborough International Airshow.

TAG Farnborough Airport was named ‘International FBO of the Year’ in the Aviation International News (AIN) International FBO Survey 2015 for the ninth consecutive year and ‘Best European FBO’ in the 2015 Pro Pilot PRASE Survey for the tenth year in a row.
