The Stanford Marsh Group has announced the addition of a new division to its collection of design and manufacturing services and solutions – the 3D Print Academy – which is the only Stratasys accredited 3D print training centre to open in the UK and will provide a range of enhanced 3D printing courses from beginner to advanced level.

Building on current services offered by Tri-Tech 3D, the 3D Print Academy courses are designed to offer a more in depth level of learning and skill advancement for those who wish to take their additive manufacturing knowledge to a higher technical degree.

The 3D Print Academy was founded on the idea that whilst 3D printing is now in full force; transforming a huge range of industries across the UK from automotive to aerospace, medical, dental, consumer goods and more, there is an untapped potential where businesses are not realising the full capabilities of their investment.

The Academy aims to provide businesses with an enhanced level of education and training on 3D print technology, we can empower our customers to create a more productive working environment, one where design and manufacturing innovation is unlimited.

As of Monday the 24th of September, it will be taking bookings onto a range of 3D printing courses from PolyJet to FDM and bespoke offerings which will be held at our Stoke-on-Trent base, providing an ideal environment for the training with a great variety of 3D machines on hand. It will also be able to offer onsite training on a needs assessed basis.

The courses will be led by expert 3D trainers who are the only ones in the UK to have attended specialist 3D training at the Stratasys EMEA headquarters in Germany. As the only UK division to receive the Stratasys 3D training academy accreditation, the 3D Print Academy are uniquely able to provide this additional training service to complement other Stanford Marsh Group services.
