Space Operations Summit to focus on space ops capabilities
The second annual Space Operations Summit, being held in London from 28th-30th April 2020, will be looking at ways to increase operational capabilities in space.

Recently, the 29 NATO heads of state declared space as the fifth domain of operations. Their joint announcement emphasised a step-change in alliance efforts to accelerate the development of space-based capability and underscored the threats that non-NATO activity poses to the resilience of our existing systems.
With NATO breaking new ground, Space Operations provides a unique forum for developing this newest warfighting domain. With sessions across three days, it will work to support efforts to improve access to and capability in space; offering industry an opportunity to share innovations in space command and control, situational awareness and launch service provision.
Alongside these sessions, the conference will work to enhance the delivery of effects from space, with case studies examining efforts to leverage satellite communications, geospatial intelligence and other assets as enablers – capable of supporting future joint operations.
