SIGINT capability extended for RFeye receivers

CRFS develops and manufactures radio monitoring, direction finding and geolocation systems that are deployed in many countries by security, law enforcement, intelligence and defense communities. Its RFeye intelligent wideband receivers are designed for ground fixed, mobile and airborne applications, where low SWaP and high performance are critical to mission success.

Krypto series software from COMINT Consulting includes automated or manual signal identification, recording, classification, decode and parse routines, together with up-to-date decoders and signals classification algorithms, providing enhanced capability for SIGINT missions. It further includes unique transceiver fingerprinting routines, called RadioID.

Krypto software is now available to support the whole family of RFeye wideband receivers:- narrow band signalsup to 48kHz in the ELF to SHF frequency range (Krypto500) and all signal types, including extended wideband signals, for target signals in VHF and above (Krypto1000).

“We welcome the collaboration with COMINT Consulting,” said Marty Mosier (right), General Manager at CRFS Inc. “RFeye platforms offer state-of-the-art performance for wideband radio monitoring applications and the Krypto software offers a valuable complementary SIGINT capability enabling us to service a wider user community.”

“CRFS’s RFeye platform is a valuable addition to the receivers that our Krypto software supports,” said Jim Kilgallen, CEO of COMINT Consulting. “In particular, our latest Krypto1000 suite provides valuable intelligence on the types of wideband signals captured by the RFeye, including very short duration signals.

"The high probability of intercept of the RFeye receivers, coupled with our real-time SIGINT tools, makes for a very powerful system.”
