Shaun Ormrod leaves Farnborough International
Shaun Ormrod, the CEO of Farnborough International Limited (FIL), has announced his departure from the business. Shaun (right) leaves Farnborough International after nine years where he saw the organisation through an exciting period of growth, as well as leading the Farnborough team through four international Air Shows.
He also played a significant role in the development of Farnborough International into a year-round conference and exhibition centre including securing the £30m funding for the new Hall 1 which is currently under construction and due to open early in 2018.
Following Ormrod’s resignation, Matthew Meredith has joined Farnborough International as Interim Chief Operating Officer to oversee the business whilst a replacement is found.
Matthew joins with a vast events and exhibitions background both nationally and internationally, most recently working in a Vice President role for dmg events.
