Scouting around at Glasgow Airport

Another group of Cub Scouts have passed their Air Activities badge, thanks to the Jet2.com team at Glasgow Airport.

The 4th Helensburgh Cub Scout group visited the airport this week to learn how the operation works, getting to do things such as scan boarding passes and learn about what goes on inside the airfield operations tower.

After that they boarded one of our aircraft, where Deputy Base Captain Victor Marshall showed them how to fly and then answered their questions.

They also spent time with Senior Cabin Crew Manager Eileen Johnston, who talked about her role before letting them practice their announcements over the tannoy system and take part in an onboard safety demonstration.

The Cub Scouts passed their badge with flying colours and left the airport with some great memories, plus a model Jet2.com aircraft each.
