East Midlands Airport-based RVL Group has increased its UK staff by over 30% to help fuel its growth and is looking to attract engineers from Monarch Aircraft Engineering Ltd (MAEL), which went into Administration in the first week of January.

The aviation company is determined that it will continue to attract the best qualified staff and talent across all areas of the business.

Dean Simpkins, Head of Engineering, has encouraged licensed engineers from MAEL, to make contact with RVL Group: "To be a qualified B1 or B2 aircraft engineer is a considerable achievement for the individuals concerned.

"This development for Monarch Aircraft Engineering and its employees is not only unfortunate for the shareholders, it is distressing for all those involved, engineers as well as mechanics and other employees, who have been made redundant.

"There are opportunities here and we welcome enquiries from all those affected."
