The STAR Award recognises suppliers with performance scores of at least 90% in areas such as product performance, airline support, and customer focus.

“The collaboration between Rockwell Collins and Bombardier is ever-evolving, especially as we lead up to the airline debut of the C Series featuring our Pro Line Fusion avionics,” said Craig Olson, vice president and general manager, Business and Regional Systems for Rockwell Collins. “The innovative technologies that we provide on Bombardier's extensive and diverse line of aircraft enable operators to fly more efficiently with greater situational awareness.”

Rockwell Collins was one of two winners for this award, announced at the Bombardier Commercial Aircraft's 2016 All Operators Conference and Tradeshow in Dallas, Texas. Bombardier Commercial Aircraft also recognised 14 operators of its CRJ Series regional jets and Q Series turboprops with 2015 Aircraft Reliability Performance Awards.

Rockwell Collins also provides the Primary Flight Control Computer and MultiScan weather radar with predictive windshear as standard equipment on the C Series family of aircraft, and a single or dual Head-up Display as an option. Other Bombardier aircraft that feature Rockwell Collins systems as standard-equipped or as an option include the Global 5000, Global 6000, Global 7000, Global 8000, Challenger 350, Challenger 650, CRJ and Q Series.
