Resource Group's Aviation Technical Training Division (LRTT Ltd) has announced that its 2017, Aviation Maintenance Apprenticeship intake will be its largest yet, seeing 64 apprentices entering the programme, with clients including British Airways, Virgin Atlantic Airways, easyJet Airline Company, AirTanker, Cobham Aviation Services UK and Marshall Aerospace and Defence Group.

All of our client’s apprentices will follow Resource Group’s 2-year programme, strictly aligned to the EASA Part 66 industry qualifications but also complying with the new Apprenticeship Standard. LRTT Ltd is qualified to deliver the new standard through the first iteration of the Register of Apprenticeship Training Providers (RoATP) thereby enabling our clients to utilise their apprentice levy payments to fund the training.

Ian Fitzpatrick, Group Managing Director Training Solutions said: "As an independent, industry embedded training provider we are absolutely delighted and humbled that so many of our high profile industry colleagues have placed their faith in us to train the next generation of aviation maintainers on their behalf.

"This is a clear commitment from our clients to invest in the future. We will continue to work closely with them, under the mandate that they have provided, striving to represent their best interests through the variety of committees and working groups that inform the Government departments associated with apprentice training.

"This is also a fantastic opportunity for all of the Resource Group team to build on its 14-year record of accomplishment in apprenticeship delivery. They are ready for the challenge and looking forward, as I am, to sharing their vast industry experience with our new future colleagues."
