Provider of security systems and solutions, Praesidiad, has relocated its corporate headquarters from Ghent, Belgium, to London, UK, as part of their global access and communication strategy.

Following a successful year since launching their new identity; Praesidiad announce the move of their head office from Ghent to London to better connect with customers, expertise, and brands within the group.

Having acquired Hesco Group in 2016, renaming the corporate body soon after and most recently winning 'Best Global Fencing and Security Company 2017' at BUILD Awards for its Betafence subsidiary, Praesidiad has developed a substantial presence in the protective solutions arena.

The move to London also comes only months after private equity firm The Carlyle Group announced entering into exclusive negotiations to acquire Praesidiad from CVC.

Michele Volpi, Praesidiad CEO, said: "With each new announcement we are further transforming our highly successful brands into a global group of high-security solutions and this relocation is another positive step towards accelerating our transformation.

"London is an excellent city, not only for transport links to our audience and brands, but, most importantly, for the access to a wealth of talent hubs and industry expertise that can only further grow our business and benefit our customers."

The move, planned for late 2017, will only affect the corporate HQ and not change or disrupt manufacturing and operations of Betafence, Hesco Group or Secure USA, which will continue to secure critical infrastructure, protect homes and communities and defend armed forces.
