Darlington-based rapid prototyping bureau, Paragon Rapid Technologies, will be showcasing its growing in-house capabilities to the defence and security sectors, as it returns to the industry's flagship event, DSEI, in September.

The biennial event brings together the global defence and security sector to innovate and share knowledge. As a member of ADS, Paragon has worked with some of the most influential OEM’s in the industry, having supported projects for BAE, QinetiQ and Ultra Electronics.

With its recent investment in a high definition large frame SLA machine boasting one of the largest build platforms in the UK, Paragon has positioned itself as the partner of choice for Additive Manufacturing (AM) and low volume production in the sector.

Visitors to Stand S6-190 will not only see 3D printed models, but also a range of prototype samples displaying some of Paragon’s more traditional in house capabilities, including Vacuum Casting, CNC machining and expert model finishing.

With projects ranging from General Service Respirators and chemical filter systems, to communications equipment, portable lighting and parts for UAVs, Paragon’s experience spans some of the most innovative applications.
