ODU to introduce new military connectors at DSEI
Connector systems' supplier ODU will be showcasing some of its new military connector developments at next month's DSEI 2017. ODU's target for the future is to connect all interfaces around the soldier, such as weapons, communications systems and vehicle connections, so that both system engineers and soldiers can benefit from one connector family that meets all the requirements for every specific application.
In the UK, ODU is probably best known for its support of the Bowman programme, where it has supplied over 100,000 helmet connectors without a single reported in-service failure.
This, together with work on several global Future Soldier programmes, led to the successful introduction of its Advanced Military Connector [AMC] series of miniature push-pull connectors.
