The show will incorporate seminars from industry leaders, which will run parallel to the workshop programme – giving practical, hands on advice with a range of technical issues.

This is the first time part of award-winning Hutchinson Group, Hutchinson Engineering and Hutchinson AeroTech, will travel to this industry expo and is part of a targeted drive to increase their export base.

Speaking ahead of the exhibition, Mark Hutchinson, managing director at Hutchinson Group has stated: “We are extremely excited to take both Hutchinson Engineering and Hutchinson AeroTech to the Southern Manufacturing and Electronics show to not only promote the brands, but to showcase what our sector is capable of in Northern Ireland.

“Both Hutchinson Engineering and Hutchinson AeroTech are top of their game, and working with some very exciting clients throughout the UK. We provide laser cut components that reach across the world, including Europe, the Middle East and Austrailia. Last year, we also opened our first Birmingham office, which has helped us service the GB market quickly and more effectively.”

Hutchinson’s success has been down to their continual investment in the latest laser cutting technology, giving them the ability to cut a vast range of parts with utmost precision.

The company has also invested in highly advanced tube and angle laser-cutting machines, allowing the processing of complex shapes efficiently and accurately. The 3D laser technology can produce extremely specific and complex laser cut geometry on angle, box, channel, pipe and tube, offering increased flexibility as well as rapid turnaround times on high quality products.

In total, the company has spent over £4.4m in new technology in the last few years, with the most recent acquisition being the Trumpf 7000 Tube Laser.

Hutchinson Group recently achieved the sought after AS9100 quality management accreditation and NADCAP specific to the aerospace industry.
