Menzies Aviation today announced new fuelling contract wins on both sides of the Atlantic.

Adding a third airport to its French fuelling operations, Menzies Aviation has secured a contract to provide 24 hour fuel farm management and ITP operations on behalf of World Fuel Services at Paris Le-Bourget Airport. Menzies Aviation Fuelling France already has significant fuelling operations at Bordeaux–Mérignac Airport and Nice Côte d'Azur Airport, handling more than 17.4m litres of fuel and over 7,500 flights a year.

The Aviation Services provider has also seen growth in its North American fuelling operations. Copa Airlines, the flag carrier of Panama has extended its into-plane fuelling contract at six airports across the United States including FLL, LAX, MCO, MSY, ORD & TPA, and awarded an additional contract at McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas, Nevada. The renewed contracts mean that Menzies Aviation will supply Copa Airlines with over 16 million gallons of fuel, powering 5,000 flights over twelve months.

Forsyth Black, Chief Executive Officer, said: “It’s great to see significant growth in our fuelling operations in both our European and American regions, and I’m very pleased that both Copa Airlines and World Fuel Services have decided to expand our already successful partnerships. Menzies Aviation is committed to growing our fuelling capabilities, we will continue to innovate and drive new technologies to provide our customers with a premium offering.”
