Rob has been over to Hong Kong from Manchester to paint crowd scenes on the streets of Hong Kong, flying courtesy of Cathay Pacific. Rob exhibited a number of these Hong Kong paintings in Terminal Two (next to the Cathay Pacific Ticket Desk), as well as painting a live check in scene in Terminal Two yesterday morning.

There was also the opportunity for Cathay Pacific passengers to enter into a prize draw to win a framed, signed A3 poster of one of Rob's paintings, with Rob drawing  the winner, Mrs Stapleton, at the gate celebration prior to boarding.

Cathay Pacific started flying direct to Hong Kong from Manchester Airport on 8th December 2014 and with a four weekly service makes Manchester the only airport outside of London with a direct scheduled service to China.
