Monarch Aircraft Engineering Limited (MAEL) has signed a line maintenance technical handling agreement with Sunwing Airlines.

The agreement, which commences in May 2017, will provide the Canadian carrier with a full suite of line maintenance services to support the operator’s Boeing 737-800 based at Leeds Bradford Airport.

John Barnard, Maintenance Operations Manager at Sunwing Airlines, said: "This line maintenance agreement with Monarch Aircraft Engineering is very important to our summer flying program. We were very impressed with their service in 2013 and happy to be working with them again this year."

Neil Kirby, Sales Manager at Monarch Aircraft Engineering, said: “We welcome back Sunwing Airlines as a returning customer and look forward to supporting their operation at our growing line maintenance station at Leeds Bradford Airport.”
