MAEL appoints David Doherty Head of Commercial
Monarch Aircraft Engineering Limited (MAEL), the engineering division of Monarch, has announced the appointment of David Doherty to its senior leadership team.
David (above) joins Monarch Aircraft Engineering as Head of Commercial with responsibilities for the business development, commercial and customer service functions of the business.
With more than 20 years of aviation experience, David previously held positions at Marshall Aerospace and Defence Group as Head of Business Development and prior to this 12 years in the commercial MRO sector as well as airline operational experience with KLM UK and Air UK.
Commenting on his new appointment, David Doherty, Head of Commercial said: “I am very pleased to join the team at Monarch Aircraft Engineering as they celebrate their 50th anniversary, supporting customers across the globe. I am confident that as our capability and network grows, we will enjoy supporting even more customers for the next 50 years.”
