Scottish airline Loganair, which operates from hubs at Glasgow, Edinburgh and Manchester airport, is now available to book in the Amadeus system using the airline code LM.

Loganair, which has in the past operated as a franchise for British Airways and more recently for Flybe, will be flying under the Loganair brand from 1 September 2017.

Flights using Loganair’s airline code LM are now bookable through Amadeus, with agreements with Sabre and Travelport expected to complete for travel in August.

The distribution agreement between the two companies means Amadeus subscribers will benefit from seeing numeric availability, where the actual number of bookable seats on busy flights is clearly displayed.

Connect on laptop, tablet and mobile devices. Loganair’s services are also bookable through Amadeus Web Services for developers of online and third-party applications.

Kay Ryan, Loganair’s Commercial Director said: “This arrangement with Amadeus is the latest phase undertaken by the airline as we prepare to ‘fly solo’. It will open-up our destinations to travel agents across the world, helping to process booking and provide useful advice to their customers.

“We’re also pleased to report that similar partnerships with Travelport and Sabre will be implemented for booking in August, supporting reservations for business and leisure passengers.”

Passengers can also make on-line bookings directly with Loganair and the airline also has a Customer Contact Centre at its Glasgow headquarters to facilitate bookings and customer enquiries.

Loganair is one of over 700 airlines bookable in Amadeus.
