Loganair launching Manchester - Newquay route
Loganair today further boosted UK connectivity by announcing the introduction of flights between Manchester and Cornwall Airport Newquay next summer.

The new service will take off from Sunday 28th March 2021, with daily flights operated by a 70-seat ATR72-600 aircraft.
Following Loganair’s announcements earlier this month of services from Cornwall Airport Newquay to Glasgow, Edinburgh, Newcastle and Aberdeen (via Newcastle), this firmly establishes Loganair as the main carrier at the South West airport.
This new service will also open up additional connecting opportunities to Loganair’s flights at Manchester to Aberdeen, Inverness and the Isle of Man; and will provide connections from Newquay to its range of airline partners including KLM, Emirates and Qatar Airways to provide international and worldwide connections.
Services will depart from Manchester’s Terminal 3 at 10:55 for the 80-minute flight south to Cornwall Airport Newquay. Return flights will leave Newquay at 12:50 each day, arriving in Manchester at 14:10.
Loganair chief executive Jonathan Hinkles said: “We’re pleased to be adding another route to our networks at both Newquay and Manchester. We’ve been working closely with Cornwall Airport Newquay to restore UK regional connectivity following the collapse of Flybe earlier this year.
“Although we wished to see the Government support this programme with a Public Service Obligation nomination for the Manchester-Newquay route to permit more frequent services to be established, we’re nonetheless going ahead with a daily service from 28th March 2021.
“Rail and road services are no alternative to swift air travel between the North West and South West, and we believe this announcement will be warmly welcomed.”
