Loganair and BA codeshare enhances Teesside Airport's global connectivity
A new codeshare agreement between Loganair and British Airways is enhancing global connectivity from Teesside Airport.

The new codeshare agreement makes travel to destinations across the world faster, efficient and more convenient than ever, with customers able to connect onto British Airways routes flying on a “through ticket”, with the facility to check in hold baggage at their departure airport straight through to their destination.
Loganair currently operates flights from the airport to London Heathrow which, international coronavirus restrictions permitting, would typically connect Teesside, the North East and Yorkshire with more than 180 locations in 84 countries across the world.
The airline has an existing ‘codeshare’ agreement with British Airways from other destinations across the UK. Teesside International Airport has now been added to that which means passengers flying globally from Teesside via the UK’s biggest airport can book on one single ticket, at BA.com, to 134 onward destinations – subject to Government rules.
Under the deal, there is no need for passengers to recheck their bags and there is added protection against missing connections due to delays.
Fares can now be previewed via www.britishairways.com, with tickets available to book from 22 June for travel from 1 July onwards.

This arrangement with British Airways cuts down on queuing times, stress and hassle for people travelling abroad for business or a much-deserved holiday.
“The global aviation industry has obviously been hit hard by coronavirus but it’s essential that we put measures in place now so that we’re in a position for a speedy and smooth take-off as restrictions ease. That’s also why we’ve also made massive multimillion-pound improvements to our terminal building, so we can quicky process more and more passengers as they take advantage of these and other routes.
