Lizzie Greenwood appointed Director of UKspace
UKspace has appointed Lizzie Greenwood as its new Director, effective from today. She will be taking over from Paul Flanagan who will be retiring in October, having led the organisation for 12 years.
Lizzie (right) joins the UK space industry’s trade association after more than 17 years with Inmarsat, the last nine years Asia focussed and based in Singapore. Her most recent appointment was Sales Director, Global Key Accounts where she was responsible for a global team and international remit.
UKspace Chair, Graham Peters, said: “I’m delighted Lizzie has agreed to join UKspace. She brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience of the global space market and industry, and will be an excellent addition to the UKspace team.”
UKspace continues to champion the space industry both at home and abroad at what is an exciting and challenging time for the space sector. The focus is on delivering a Space Growth Partnership and Space Sector Deal proposal as part of the Government’s Industrial Strategy, continuing to promote the UK as the place to grow the New Space economy.
