Kuehne + Nagel awarded ERS Gold Award by MoD
The Ministry of Defence (MoD) has awarded Kuehne + Nagel with the Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) Gold Award, the highest possible badge of honour for organisations demonstrating support to Armed Forces Personnel.

The award recognises Kuehne + Nagel’s outstanding support to Armed Forces Personnel since signing the Armed Forces Covenant (AFC) in May 2014, in which Kuehne + Nagel pledged to endeavour in business dealings that uphold the key principles of the AFC.
Marcus Bennett, Kuehne + Nagel’s UK National Manager said: “I have witnessed first-hand, how much former members of the Armed Forces can contribute to our company. Since signing the Covenant in 2014 our new colleagues from the Armed Forces have brought a diverse service portfolio to the wider Kuehne + Nagel organisation. They reside in all business areas, from Human Resources to Warehouse Operations. Our colleagues who have joined us from the Services demonstrate drive and commitment, whilst leveraging their transferable skill sets; behaviours we champion to all of our colleagues.”
Commenting on the award, Major Lawrence Ashbridge MBE, said: “I have been impressed by the enthusiasm and innovative drive with which Kuehne + Nagel have delivered their Armed Forces Covenant pledges. The company clearly understands the needs of service leavers and how they can contribute to the long term success of the company.
