Kilfrost joins Eastman on de-icing for UK and Irish airports
Kilfrost has secured an alliance with Eastman that gives UK and Irish airports a one-stop solution to winter icing protection.
The distribution deal between Kilfrost Ltd and Eastman will see Kilfrost offering the Clearway runway de-icing solutions alongside the company’s aircraft de-icing solutions.
The range of liquid and solid, fast-acting runway de-icing products from Eastman, complements Kilfrost’s products, which offer comprehensive, safety critical, frost and ice protection.
Eastman is a global speciality chemical company established in runway, taxiway and apron de-icing at airports worldwide.

The Clearway products offer excellent biodegradability and low aquatic toxicity with the Clearway® F1 and Clearway® 1 liquid products boasting superior spray capability, while the Clearway® SF3 and 6s solid products can be applied pre-wetted for rapid de-icing or alone for lasting residual anti-icing.
