Horizon Technologies showcasing Amber CubeSat at Satellite 2019
Horizon Technologies will be on the UK Pavilion sponsored by the UK Department of International Trade at Satellite 2019 in Washington, DC, 6th–9th May, showcasing its Amber Commercial SIGINT CubeSat constellation.
John Beckner, Horizon Technologies’ CEO noted: “We couldn’t be prouder to be part of the UK DIT Pavilion at this important show. We are now off and running on getting our first Amber satellite launched next year via the UK Space Applications Catapult IOD-3 programme. The continuing support provided by the UK government has been outstanding, and a model for a successful public/private partnership.
“Naturally, we have a strong established and growing government end-user customer base from our FlyingFish SIGINT products and these customers are impatient for our Amber data to come online. Satellite 2019 will be our first foray into the worldwide space-driven data market.”
Horizon Technologies provides airborne satellite phone monitoring systems for ISR applications, equipping governments worldwide by enhancing their SIGINT capabilities. They are the OEM for the FlyingFish system which is flying on numerous ISR aircraft worldwide. FlyingFish systems fly daily on missions for NATO and FRONTEX.
Horizon Technologies has offices in the United Kingdom and the USA. In 2020, Horizon Space Technologies will be launching the first of their Amber commercial SIGINT CubeSats and providing customers with a new intelligence data product.
