The AS9100C standard is the globalised certification that demonstrates full traceability on the components used in production – as well as the necessary rigour in terms of product and process conformance. The latest version encompasses the requirements of the ISO 9001 standard, of which GTK’s UK site is already approved.

John Morath (right), Managing Director at GTK, said: “This accreditation, in addition to those we already have, cements our position as a high-quality, UK-based electronics manufacturer and will enable us to penetrate the aerospace, defence, and security markets as part of our overall business growth objectives.”

With this accreditation, GTK’s UK manufacturing facility in Basingstoke can now meet all the demands of aerospace, military and security customers – as well as the applicable statutory and regulatory requirements of these industries.

This certification (as of November 2015) enables GTK to enhance customer expectations through the delivery of high quality, high performance cable assemblies, for even the most challenging aerospace and military applications.

Founded in 1990, GTK is a global provider of high quality electronics solutions to a broad range of market sectors, with its UK manufacturing facility producing both standard and custom cable assemblies, as well as connectors and optoelectronics.
