G4S opens National Cash Centre for Ireland
G4S Cash Solutions Ireland has opened its new state of the art National Cash Centre in Dublin, which will serve over 3,000 businesses and financial institutions across Ireland.

With almost 10,000 square metres of space, the new cash centre is G4S’s largest facility of its kind across the G4S global network.
The launch was attended by a number of special guests including (from left to right) Fianna Fail Senator Catherine Ardagh, Mayor of South Dublin Mark Ward, the Garda Commissioner Drew Harris and G4S Cash Solutions Ireland Managing Director Damian Young.
The G4S Ireland National Cash Centre will employ up to 400 people in Dublin West and has employed over 100 people in its development and construction. Enabled with the most innovative technology and processes, it will consolidate all of G4S’s cash and coin processing in Ireland and will serve the needs of businesses, retailers and banks across the country.
The centre is equipped with facilities to serve the growing demand for outsourced cash processing in Ireland. It has been fitted out with state of the art security systems and a new innovation centre for the expansion of the business.

Speaking at the launch in Dublin last Friday, Damian Young, Managing Director of G4S Cash Solutions Ireland, said: “G4S is very proud to unveil this new facility today. We are continuing to invest in our business in Ireland and committed to further expansion in the years to come. This facility will underpin our focus on technology, innovation and automation to maintain our leadership position in providing end to end cash and payment management solutions to Irish businesses and banks”.
Commenting at the opening, Mayor Mark Ward said: “I am delighted to preside over the opening of this hugely impressive centre today and I wish G4S, its customers and its employees the very best for the future. This facility here in Dublin West will create much needed employment for the local community now and into the future and will be the hub of services for the entire country.”
Fianna Fail Senator Catherine Ardagh said: “I would like to thank G4S for their continued investment in Dublin and the jobs and opportunities that this innovative new centre has created. It reinforces that Dublin is an excellent place to do business, and it would be great to see other companies following G4S’s lead with the support from government.”

The National Cash Centre will open fully for business in April 2019 and expand as part of the business’ vision for the future.
