Foxano gains aerospace quality certification
Advanced material processing organisation, Craigavon based engineering start-up Foxano Ltd, have taken huge steps forward despite the current economic climate, by becoming an aerospace and defence quality certified provider.

This week saw the start-up receive certification to AS9100 Rev D, demonstrating their processes and controls meet the quality expectations and requirements of the global aerospace and defence market sector.
Foxano provide a finishing service of anodising aluminium components across a variety of sectors including aerospace, architectural, construction, pharmaceutical and general engineering.
Paul Fox, Managing Director of Foxano, said: “We have worked tirelessly over the last twelve months to build and grow the company, to reach the stipulated, stringent international standards of our industry.
"The Foxano team are delighted to have achieved this certification and are looking forward to the next stages of the company’s growth and development.”
Foxano have fostered a culture for process improvement and automation. The last twelve months have seen huge investment of £500,000, into building a new 6,000 sq. ft plant and purchasing a custom-built automated anodising machine, with the capability of large batch rapid processing.
To date, Foxano have managed to secure work from large companies, including Almac Group and have also supported many engineering SMEs and OEMs across the UK & Ireland.
