Flybe, Europe’s largest regional airline, has moved quickly to accommodate the needs of those travellers wishing to take advantage of the eight new routes from Doncaster Sheffield Airport next summer and wanting to travel over the Easter holidays. It has readjusted its schedules to start three days earlier than originally planned, on Thursday 24th March, 2016.

Customers now have the added benefit of being able to travel to one of these new destinations for their Easter holidays - Alicante, Amsterdam, Berlin, Jersey, Malaga, Faro, Newquay and Paris Charles de Gaulle. Flights will be operated by 118-seat Embraer 195 jet aircraft featuring two by two all leather seating throughout.

Steve Gill, managing director of Doncaster Sheffield Airport, said: “We are delighted that Flybe has been able to bring forward the start date of their new routes.

“Business and leisure customers from across the Sheffield City Region have welcomed these routes and the sales to date are really positive. By starting the services three days early we are able to meet the demand of people wanting to go away for the Easter break. This will mean that even more people can take advantage of our new routes.”
