Exova to provide metrology and calibration for GKN
Element's Exova Metech has signed a new five-year contract with GKN Aerospace Sweden (GKN), which will see Element carry out a range of metrology and calibration services for GKN and its supply chain partners from the client's facilities in Trollhättan, Sweden.
Element's Exova Metech has signed a new five-year contract with GKN Aerospace Sweden (GKN), which will see Element carry out a range of metrology and calibration services for GKN and its supply chain partners from the client’s facilities in Trollhättan, Sweden.
Element’s metrology and calibration teams will deliver a ‘full service’ solution in accordance with internationally recognised standards. The agreement will also see all GKN’s calibration systems transfer over to Element’s cloud-based registry – Metech Instrument Organizer (MIO) – providing access to Sweden’s only accredited measuring service for computerised measuring machines (CMM).
