SEPTRE LITE is the lower-cost version of SEPTRE - the aviation industry’s advanced training system for airline cabin crew. SEPTRE LITE encompasses an audio-visual system that can be fitted onto new or existing Cabin Emergency Evacuation Trainers (CEETs), providing graphics at each passenger window and highly realistic audio that covers all phases of flight. SEPTRE LITE includes pre-programmed emergency scenarios such as aborted take-off, engine fire, gear collapse, turbulence, ditching and decompression. SEPTRE LITE includes all the features of the full SEPTRE system but with one difference – the visual scenes are duplicated at each window.

A team from EDM will be present at WATS to demonstrate SEPTRE LITE as well as discuss the rest of the company’s product portfolio for the civil airline market which includes Door Trainers, Cabin Service Trainers, CEETs and Real Fire Trainers for any aircraft type.

Now in its 19th year, the four day event includes 100 conference presentations with 60 companies showcasing their products and services in the adjacent exhibition. The theme of this year’s event is ‘Optimising Blended Learning and Training Technology.’
