EDM showcases its F-35 capabilities at Lockheed Martin event

Provider of training simulators to the civil aviation and defence sectors, EDM, showcased its F-35 capabilities at last week’s Lockheed Martin Cockpit Event.

Held at The Institution of Engineering and Technology in London on the 16th and 17th January, the event was organised to increase awareness of the vital role played by UK industry in the F-35 programme.

EDM teamed up with Martin-Baker to demonstrate its VR simulator and the US16E Ejection Seat to the event’s delegates which included politicians, members of the House of Lords, senior military personnel and the media.

EDM is the prime contractor for the manufacture of all global F-35 maintenance training equipment which comprises of the Ejection Systems Maintenance Trainer (ESMT) and the Weapons Loading Trainer (WLT) for this fifth-generation jet fighter.
