The contract requirement includes all international services and domestic distribution to and from Marshall Aerospace and Defence Group's head offices in Cambridge.

Director of Sales, Richard Lawford commented: “This contract was won based on a great working relationship with Marshall Aerospace and Defence Group, competitive pricing and a front end IT solution providing full visibility. Going forward DSV hope to continue to grow a strong relationship with Marshall Aerospace and Defence Group, as well as their customers and suppliers.”

Marshall Aerospace and Defence Group is one of the largest privately owned and independent aerospace and defence companies, employing over 1,700 people in four countries, with expertise in the conversion, modification, maintenance and support of military and commercial aircraft and land based deployable systems.

The Marshall Aerospace and Defence Group account will be managed out of DSV’s London Heathrow office, where a customer service and operations team will guarantee a reliable service 24/7. Managing Director, Michael D. Hansen concluded: “In the United Kingdom we are proud of our dedicated and experienced aerospace team, and the wide range of services we offer to suit this specialist vertical. DSV have been developing our strategy to enhance the value we bring to customers in the aerospace market, resulting in an increasing market share and value proposition.”
